Sedan Fortified Castle
Sedan Castle, the largest fortified castle in Europe, exceeded our expectations in terms of how well it’s been presented.
Right from the off, you step into something that genuinely deserves that often over-used term, an ‘immersive experience’. The history of the place was distilled into a beautiful animated presentation projection-mapped onto three interior walls.
As we followed the audio guide round we really felt the place come alive with its history. The place really is enormous, and even though only a fraction of it is actually open to the public there was plenty for a visit of a few hours. Every aspect had been really well thought out.
