Our first day in France

For breakfast we had some of the marmalade that Josie’s aunt Sue sent us off with – delicious!

We spotted this unusual looking roof… dove or carrier pigeon holes maybe?

Our first stop was in the cobblestone streets of Cassel, apparently “France’s favourite village“.

Having heard so many good things about French Aires I’ve been keen to try one out. Our first experience has been great 🤩, thank you France.

After filling our water there we got back on the road to Lille where we were hosted for dinner by Henry’s childhood friend, Serena and her lovely family.
